Trabajo social: aportes a la historia reciente

The editorial gesture of this book is clear from the very first pages: it offers a reasoned cartography in which each chapter weaves its own thread, and together they outline a pedagogical thesis — that understanding intervention requires understanding the history that made it possible. To this end, the book identifies four key moments in the recent history of Argentine Social Work: the reconceptualisation period; the dictatorship; the democratic transition; and the neoliberal and post-crisis period — historical milestones that, in their unfolding, reorganise professional knowledge, practices, and identities.
